Hey guys- Just wanted to note that I took off the last post about the kids pick for president. Seems that not everyone finds it easy to see that kid's perspectives are just that...their young perspectives...which are often strictly based in black and white thinking and frequently formed from snippets of what they hear...and don't necessarily accurately reflect the exact views of their parents or the reality of the issues and the candidates stances on them. I apologize for any misinterpretation of their analysis of the topics at hand.
Thanks for reading my humble little blog...

I missed their insightful comments. Please pass them on to me. Yesterday, Luke wanted to dress as McCain for school for his Halloween costume. Then, he said, "But Halloween is supposed to be scary. I think I should be Obama. He is the scary one." A reflection of home views?
Maybe
I must have missed that. Along with the amusing fact that one of my favorite teachers dressed up as Charlie Brown...I regretfully missed that! But it must have been pretty hilarious!
Emily, I know politics can be very controversial, but you know, the kids are entitled to their own opinions and whether they are rooted in 100% accuaracy or not the bottom line is just as you said, they are kids, and even as adults our opinions aren't always rooted in truth, accuarcy, nor do they always match the popular opinion of the world. Everyone needs to remember that and remember that we were young once too.
And on another note, this is YOUR blog so I think you should post/say/feel whatever you want when you want.
Hurry up and get here! We can't wait!!
