"It's time for me to go
But I really want you to know,
That you're the one I'll miss.
So, I'm blowing you a great big kiss"

-Laurie Berkner Blow a Kiss

I am sitting on the 6th floor of the Newark Airport Marriott. Outside the doublepaned window the girls and I can see the place that we will likely never again call home. New York City shines in the early evening sunlight...IKEA shouts it's name in bright yellow lettering...people hurry here and there in cars and on foot.

Justin took the boys to the hotel pool and now the girls have scurried off to the adjoining room to watch WordGirl. So I sit here, listening to nothing but the hum of the air conditioner and Ezra's steady breathing...letting myself feel the full force of leaving. Leaving people we love, places we know, and memories that are some of our very best. Just 4 years ago Justin drug me up here, kicking and screaming. I never imagined that leaving would be this hard.

To our friends (you know who you are!): Coming here was painful, and leaving hurts even more...but you were worth it all. Thanks. We love you!

Selfishly I am glad you are coming our direction again and we can't wait to see you, but I totally understand where you are coming from. I think no matter how long you are somewhere you develop roots & relationships.

Love and prayers for a safe journey.

We miss you already! I'm pregnant- so I cry a little too often as it is, but these are tears are not caused by hormones- rather sadness.

I certainly never thought I would say this- but Arkansas is one fortunate state! (no offense Arkansas:-)

WOW! It appears you are moving back South but I don't know where to?? I try and keep up with you through your blog...5 kids, and now moving! WOW...I'll say it again!
Tell me where your moving to- I hope back to Big D!
We were inches to moving to Michigan (Detroit area) but for now Ken is commuting until we figure it out. Congratulations on the new baby and the move!

I for one am extremely glad you are coming this way. Arkansas is a very well kept secret - let's not tell anyone how good it is. We have been here four years and really enjoy being here. The only thing I miss about being in Florida or California is that people speak real English there, not "Hickspeak" as my children call it.
And it will be wonderful having a relative sooo close! Only a couple of hours away. Safe journey.
Love, Aunt Brenda

Heather- We are looking forward to seeing you guys too!

Kori- I miss you too. A trip to the Gap will never be without thoughts of you! Looks like those Bloomingdales sale racks are all yours now. :(

Amy- Hey! We are now in Arkansas! Not Dallas, but not too far, and we plan to visit there as much as we can.

Aunt Brenda- It is nice to know you guys are so close. I hope we love it here as much as you do!
